Job Summary As a Valuation Control Associate, you will execute independent price verification and support the governance of fair value measurements across multiple businesses. You will assist with established valuation control practices, contribute to management reporting and regulatory requirements, and enhance the overall valuation control framework. You will partner closely with cross‑functional teams to resolve valuation issues and implement improvements that strengthen control effectiveness and consistency. Job Responsibilities Execute independent price verification and benchmark processes, including calculating fair value adjustments Assist with established valuation control practices and control initiatives, including management reporting and regulatory requirements, to drive consistency across the broader valuation control framework Partner with finance, risk, product controllers, and model validation teams to address valuation issues and implement measures that ensure fair value Enhance the control framework by reviewing independent pricing processes, assessing coverage developments, and implementing new tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness Prepare clear valuation analyses and contribute to stakeholder updates and governance materials Collaborate with internal and external audit and control functions on valuation topics and reviews Maintain thorough documentation and evidence supporting controls, methodologies, and approvals Undertake value‑added projects related to business, risk, and finance initiatives Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Three years of related experience Ability to understand complex products and analyze transaction and process flows Understanding of valuation concepts for financial products and derivatives, and basic accounting knowledge Analytical and quantitative aptitude Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Undergraduate degree in finance or economics Graduate degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or engineering Work experience in the financial industry Quantitative academic or professional background Experience with advanced Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Visual Basic, automation, and database tools About Us
