Loan Documentation Specialist
to support our lending teams by preparing, reviewing, and validating loan documents with precision and care.
In this role, you’ll be trusted with ensuring every loan package is accurate, compliant, and ready for closing while delivering responsive, high-quality service to internal partners, lenders, and external vendors.
How You’ll Contribute
Prepare consumer and/or commercial loan packages for closing in a timely, accurate, and complete manner
Ensure all loan documentation complies with internal procedures, policies, and applicable government regulations
Review completed loan documents prepared by team members and identify required corrections or updates prior to release
Order flood determinations and property searches as requested
Communicate effectively with lenders and external vendors regarding documentation details, asking the right questions and resolving issues as they arise
Identify documentation exceptions and elevate concerns appropriately
Maintain current knowledge of lending policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements through required training
What You’ll Bring
Associate degree in business, banking, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of two years of loan documentation experience required
Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret title work and flood determination documents
Working knowledge of loan documentation policies and relevant government regulations
Strong computer proficiency; experience with LaserPro software preferred
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
Proven ability to interpret fine details and apply sound judgment to technical loan documentation
Demonstrated experience communicating with lenders and external vendors and raising appropriate questions when needed
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and develop effective solutions
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and handle multiple priorities
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
