
We are hiring an Assistant Property Manager in Monmouth Junction, NJ. This is ideal for someone who likes to wear many hats, stay busy, and help implement SOPs! Wonderful family-oriented company, where you can hang your hat for a while and learn all the ins and outs of property management. Must be tech savvy and LOVE to lease! The ideal candidate should be self-starting, energetic, and creative with the ability to multi-task while managing property-level issues as they arise.
What You'll Do:
Build strong relationships with residents and prospects, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
Support leasing efforts with tours, applications, and marketing to achieve occupancy goals.
Partner with maintenance to keep the property well-maintained and respond to service requests.
Assist with rent collection, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with fair housing, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Provide administrative support, including reports, resident files, and staffing needs.
Contribute to community events, social media, and local partnerships.
What You Bring:
1–2 years of property management, leasing, hospitality, or customer service experience.
Strong people skills with the ability to connect with diverse groups.
Organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful with solid multitasking abilities.
Familiarity with Yardi, Microsoft Office 365, and property management best practices.
Flexible schedule and valid driver's license.
High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
