Job Summary Randstad is seeking a high-impact Director of Finance to serve as a key strategic partner to our clients executive leadership team. This is a visible, "hands‑on" role responsible for driving the financial narrative of a leading manufacturer. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, you will be a critical bridge between complex operational data and executive decision‑making. We are looking for a candidate with communication maturity and executive presence to distill complex financial modeling into clear, actionable insights for executive decision‑making.

Salary: $165,000–$180,000 per year

Work Hours: 8 to 5

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation:

$165K–$180K base salary + 20% bonus.

Benefits:

Mostly covered – medical, vision and dental. Unlimited PTO and a 401K with a match.

Collaborative, in‑office culture within a tight‑knit Finance Department of 7.

Impact:

Individual contributor role with high-level influence.

Responsibilities

Oversee the full annual budgeting and monthly forecasting cycles, including comprehensive variance analysis.

Build sophisticated, driver‑based models to analyze the impact of labor, materials, and overhead on production.

Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to identify margin trends and guide executive decision‑making.

Collaborate with factory leadership to monitor KPIs like throughput, scrap rates, and labor efficiency.

Direct standard costing, analyze product/customer margins, and lead cost‑saving initiatives.

Utilize SQL and advanced Excel to extract and validate data directly from systems.

Own management reporting packages and improve delivery speed through process automation.

Present financial insights to the C‑suite and build business cases for capital investments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA/CPA/CMA preferred).

7+ years in finance, with a preference for manufacturing environments.

Expert‑level Excel (Power Query/Modeling) and proficiency in SQL.

Proven ability to translate complex data into clear narratives for non‑finance stakeholders.
