Overview We are partnering with a growing, family-oriented component manufacturer seeking an experienced Lead Truss Designer to support continued expansion. This is a strong opportunity for a senior-level designer who enjoys ownership, collaboration, and long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
Design roof and floor truss systems for residential and multifamily projects
Review layouts for accuracy, efficiency, and code compliance
Collaborate with sales, production, and customers to resolve design challenges
Support junior designers as needed
Maintain turnaround times in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
8+ years of wood truss design experience
Proficiency in MiTek or Alpine software
Strong background in residential and multifamily work
Prior remote work experience preferred
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Leadership or lead designer experience strongly preferred
