An established residential landscape design-build firm in the Tucson area is seeking a
Landscape Designer
to join its team.
This position focuses primarily on residential landscape design, including higher-end residential projects. The role combines creative design development with direct homeowner interaction from consultation through signed agreement.
Design capability is the priority. Client-facing comfort is important. Sales experience is a plus but not required.
This is a fully onsite role in Greater Tucson.
Key Responsibilities
Meet with homeowners to understand project vision, scope, and investment level
Develop residential landscape and outdoor living designs
Present concepts and refine plans based on client feedback
Collaborate with estimating and production teams to align design with execution
Support the transition from signed agreement to construction
Ideal Background
Experience in residential landscape design (high-end residential preferred)
Strong portfolio demonstrating design quality and attention to detail
Working knowledge of design software (AutoCAD strongly preferred; comparable experience considered)
Comfortable presenting designs directly to clients
Commercial design experience may be considered if there is meaningful residential and client-facing exposure
Education
A Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture is highly sought after
A Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field
A combination of education and relevant residential design experience will also receive strong consideration
