POSITION SUMMARY
Bay Colony Golf Club, recognized with Elite Status by the Distinguished Clubs of America, is committed to providing an unmatched experience for its members and guests. This role is responsible for greeting and serving, providing bag, cart, and practice facility services to members and guests while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet members and guests. Remove golf bags from cars or storage and place them on carts prior to play.
Maintain close personal interaction with membership daily.
Review tee sheet, inspect and clean all clubs before placing them on carts.
Maintain all practice facilities in a clean orderly fashion.
Clean clubs after play and return them to storage.
Stock each cart with towels, scorecards, pencils, water & ice, and divot sand.
Perform cart maintenance and maintain service records.
Clean and maintain fleet of 60 lithium golf carts and cart wash area, and cart staging area.
Assist with member tournaments and event setups.
Maintain close interaction with Golf Shop staff, communicating rounds of golf, pace of play and member services.
Maintain practice ball supplies and on‑course sand bottles.
Print and attach guest tags to bags upon arrival.
Support Starter in directing members to tee and maintaining tee time adherence.
Assist guests as they leave, clean clubs, and load vehicles.
Perform other duties as assigned by Outside Services Manager.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
PGA Assistant, Apprentice or PGM Intern preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Regularly required to stand, walk, and handle equipment.
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Vision requirements including close and distance vision, color, and depth understanding instructions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Regular exposure to outdoor weather and humid conditions. • Frequent exposure to extreme heat. • Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
