What to Expect The Director, Regional Sales leads the financial services wholesale, retail, lease, and insurance business conducted in the assigned region setting strategic objectives that align with the broader organizational goals, and ensuring their effective execution, balancing both market growth and profitability. This role is responsible for guiding and coaching Business Development Managers (BDMs) to drive performance and achieve sales objectives ensuring alignment with HCA’s revenue goals. In addition, this role will establish and maintain relationships with both dealers and the OEMs serving as the primary liaison for the OEMs at the regional level to grow and support sales goals. Driving is an essential function of this position.

What You Will Do

1.Daily Activity

Direct day to day regional & district level HMF/KFA/GF activities to ensure assigned KPI’s and strategic initiatives are achieved for the assigned region.

Lead, coach, & develop regional BDMs in district management and KPI achievements.

Monitor regional OEM and dealer performance in order to achieve region profitability objectives.

2.Relationship Management

Lead the HCA/OEM relationship for the assigned region to leverage HCA’s products and services for mutual growth and success.

Foster robust dealer relationships and ensure a seamless dealer experience.

Represent HCA at OEM and dealer councils and ad associations.

Grow and manage commercial assets within the assigned region by prospecting and working with BDMs to acquire new floorplans, and dealer portfolio management.

4.Enterprise Approach Strategy

Collaborate with the insurance business to grow overall HCA portfolio (commercial, consumer and insurance products) within assigned region.

5.People Management

Lead, mentor, and develop team members by providing direction, performance feedback, and support to ensure effective collaboration, professional growth, and achievement of organizational and personal goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience with a focus on Extended Warranty and/or F&I field sales.

Minimum 5 years’ management experience.

Captive experience preferred

Proven track record in sales leadership and management.

Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer/dealer needs and competitive landscapes.

Extensive menu selling knowledge/experience

Proficient in selling current F&I product suite portfolio

Proven history of account acquisitions through execution of established dealer conversion methods.

Experienced in sustainable account development.

Adept Dealer conversion, income development, product knowledge, comprehension, and skill sets

Proven ability to work across levels and functions to build relationships with key stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to articulate vision and direction, communicate effectively, manage and measure performance and accountability.

Excellent written, verbal, and sales presentation skills.

Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills.

Comfortable navigating change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Forward thinking with the ability to work well under pressure and organize/articulate complex information.

Driving Requirements

Employee must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Job requires daily driving and the capacity to travel long distances including across assigned regions, meetings, and events.

Some overnight travel may be required depending upon business needs.

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an at home and office environment.
