Overview Trinity Lutheran Church in Joppa, Maryland is seeking a passionate, faith-filled Youth and Children's Director to join our ministry team.
This individual will work closely with the Lead Pastor to coordinate and grow intergenerational spiritual ministry that nurtures children and equips youth and strengthens families in their faith journey. We are looking for someone who is creative, relational, organized, and excited to build meaningful connections across ages of the congregation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead ministry programs for children and youth
Foster intergenerational faith formation opportunities
Recruit, train, and support volunteers
Collaborate with the Lead Pastor and church leadership in shaping ministry vision
Qualifications
Strong Christian faith and commitment to Lutheran theology and values
Experience in youth and children's ministry preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to build relationships across generations
Compensation $45,000 - $52,000 pending experience
