R18967**Job Summary**Designer II is responsible for the accurate design of the roof and floor trusses, walls, and components for single-family, multi-family, and commercial projects.**Principal Duties and Responsibilities*** Design metal plate-connected wood trusses and Wall Panels utilizing Mitek software* Optimize designs for maximum efficiency* Review orders, layouts, and data files for accuracy* Assist sales and production with design service and troubleshooting* Performs other duties as required**Qualifications*** Minimum high school graduate* Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent* Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in related field/responsibilities* Working knowledge and experience using Mitek software are preferred* Working knowledge of floor and rood systems and the ability to spec out beams and hangars### *The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.***We're successful.** We've been around for more than 65 years, and we've been profitable every year since our founding.
