Packaging Associate – Refrigerated Warehouse
Location: Nampa, Idaho. Schedule: 10:30am – 8:30pm. Availability: Must be available Monday–Sunday and able to work 12-hour shifts as needed.
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Packaging Associates to join our team in a refrigerated warehouse environment. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced production setting and are committed to quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet daily efficiency and production goals while maintaining high quality standards
Ensure cheese products are properly sealed and packaged in correct containers
Prepare accurate packaging and boxing for daily production
Load and operate machines at designated speeds with minimal downtime
Accurately complete CCP and line operation paperwork
Weigh product and verify accuracy
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
Perform sanitation and cleaning duties as assigned
Properly use and handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
Communicate effectively with line workers and supervisors
Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or production problems promptly
Attend required meetings and training sessions
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Knowledge of packaging processes preferred
Food handling experience a plus, but not required
Experience with general cleaning and chemical handling
Ability to work in a cold, refrigerated environment
Skills & Abilities:
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
Reliable attendance and punctuality required
Commitment to workplace safety and following all safety guidelines
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
