Epilepsy Program Director
Opportunity based at Medical Center in Northwest Portland
Core responsibilities include outpatient clinic, EMU service, and EEG interpretation
Epilepsy fellowship training and a minimum of five years of post-graduate experience in outpatient epilepsy management and EEG interpretation required
Ideal candidates will have experience with an epilepsy surgery program
Collaborate with functional neurosurgeons and support staff
Evaluate patients for surgery
Grow program to achieve NAEC epilepsy center certification
Join a collaborative team of 9 outpatient neurologists (including one epileptologist), 4 clinic-based APPs, and 10 neurohospitalists
The epilepsy program includes a 4-bed EMU and a comprehensive epilepsy surgery service
Provide outpatient consultation and longitudinal care for patients with epilepsy and other neurological conditions
Opportunity to teach internal medicine residents and medical students
