Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your customer relationship management and strategic business development expertise in a new cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.
You’ll drive customer satisfaction and loyalty while growing business opportunities and ensuring project profitability. Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Sales, Tendering, and Project Management), champion a customer‑centric culture, and contribute to negotiations during the tender phase—and much more.
Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for customers and serve as the primary authority on all customer issues.
Secure and regularly measure customer satisfaction.
Grow business by selling existing or new products to existing customers to maximize revenue and profits.
Contribute to negotiations during the tender phase.
Partner with Project Managers to ensure the success of project execution.
Lead commercial discussions to support project execution teams to resolve issues that protect business interests and maintain customer satisfaction.
Apply ALSTOM rules on ethics and compliance in all selling and customer management activities.
Identify new business opportunities with customers, understand their needs, and gather key data, including budgets.
Lead the Business Opportunity Review (BOR), Go/No Go, and Tender Review Meetings (TRM).
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of experience or understanding of customer relationship management and strategic account management, and project management.
Proficiency in identifying business opportunities, gathering customer insights and value-selling.
Strong knowledge of project execution, profitability/business financials.
Proven ability to lead negotiations.
Experience with complex tender management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to foster a customer‑centric culture and ensure customer satisfaction.
Skilled in contributing to cross‑functional team success during project execution phases.
Resilience and adaptability to manage complex customer portfolios and deliver results.
