You will contribute to all phases of design, including concept development, construction documentation, and construction administration. As a Technical Designer within this group, you will help deliver world‑class retail environments by integrating design excellence, technical rigor, and strategic thinking. You will work with a multidisciplinary team from concept through completion to deliver quality project work as a steward of Gensler’s commitment to quality, innovation, and impact.**What You Will Do*** Perform technical design assignments, including programming client needs, developing conceptual diagrams and models, producing technical studies, and generating construction documentation.* Support communication among project teams, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and permitting officials.* Provide design and documentation support throughout project execution.* Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives* Support coordination with local jurisdictions for permit submissions, plan review responses, and approvals.**Your Qualifications*** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.* 3–5 years of experience in an architectural design firm* Proficiency in Revit (required)* Experience with Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, 3dMax, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and MS Office* Collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.* Self‑motivated, responsible, and highly driven.* Demonstrated commitment to resilience and sustainable design practices.* State licensure and LEED accreditation a plusPlease include a portfolio of work samples and review the qualifications above to ensure alignment with this role.This role is fully in‑office; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.
