The Activities Director needs to have boundless energy, the ability to push themselves or others, and determination to always achieve their goals. The team member in this role is responsible for managing all aspects of the facility activity plan, engaging and encouraging residents to participate in daily activities to provide a sense of life enrichment. The ideal candidate is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing activities and events corresponding to the activity department. We are seeking a high energy partner who will help us share the message of the quality care and service we provide to our residents.

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities*** Ensures the CAPLICO Core Values and Code of Conduct are adhered to at all times.* Ensures compliance with Resident Rights and HIPAA policies at all times.* Ensures that the activities program promotes a feeling of independence, a sense of fulfillment and accomplishment for residents.* Provides a well-balanced daily and monthly calendar of programs and events of interest to the residents. Routinely seeks and is open to resident feedback on activity likes/dislikes and on suggestions for future programs.* Establishes and maintains community partnerships to offer a wide variety of choices for residents and collaborates with other organizations/businesses to promote joint programming.* Provides opportunities for residents to engage in volunteer projects in the surrounding community.* Leads activities and conducts programs in a timely manner.* Supports/encourages residents to take the lead on various activities to promote a sense of pride.* Continually promotes and encourages resident participation in activities and events. Seeks to find the motivation in each resident that will entice them to participate or be an active member in activities/events.* Ensures that activities supplies are ordered and available for use.* Transports residents to various activities and events in the community.* May perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.**Pay Rate: $23.00-$27.00 DOE**The employer for this position is stated in the job posting.
