The successful candidate will be charged with leading a team of experienced precision medicine directors and overseeing the development and implementation of commercial diagnostic strategies to advance key pipeline assets with biomarker and diagnostic associated indications.The candidate will work in close collaboration with Asset and Tumor Leads in Global Oncology Marketing, our Regional & Local Marketing Organizations, as well as the Diagnostic Development Teams in our Research Laboratories to ensure cross functional alignment through clinical development and successful commercial implementation. Close collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders across functions as well as external partners (diagnostic & device technology companies, reference laboratories, etc.) is fundamental to the success of the role.The role requires a proven track record in leadership and development of strategy, thinking creatively and shaping of diagnostics solutions in a dynamic business environment. Strategic vision, strategy creation, execution, strong financial understanding/acumen are imperative skills to the success of the role.The Executive Director will report to the Associate Vice President, Precision Medicine New Assets, Alliances, Digital Pathology, & ctDNA and will be a key member of our Global Precision Medicine Marketing teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, structured and exemplifies our inclusive ways of working; contributing to the development of evolving commercial models that ultimately create value for patients, laboratorians, payers and Healthcare Providers (HCPs).**Primary Responsibilities:*** Develop and Execute precision medicine product strategy and diagnostic Go-to-market plan to support the development & launch of our Oncology New Assets.* Provide commercial diagnostic oversight and input on diagnostic target product profile development, partner selection, market research, business cases, etc.* Provide input into short & long-term Business Strategy, Planning & Forecasting; lead & guide development of diagnostic strategies & tactics, positioning, messaging etc.* Provide commercial leadership, support and expertise to Diagnostic Development Teams, Global Brand Teams, Regional & Local Marketing Organizations* Collaborate with diagnostic partners as well as medical affairs teams to develop robust scientific communications and educational plans for Diagnostic tools supporting our oncology portfolio.* Partner with clinical development team and external Dx partners to further refine target product profile and Go-to-market strategy**Key Leadership Competencies:*** A dynamic executive with significant business acumen and demonstrated leadership in development of diagnostic strategies, collaboration with diagnostic & pharma partners, leading in-market commercial initiatives, and entrepreneurship* Possesses inspirational personal leadership qualities that inspire trust, respect, credibility and confidence of peers, colleagues and diagnostic & pharma partners* Ability to articulate vision and direction clearly and concisely in a variety of scientific and Senior Leadership business forums.* Proven ability to effectively lead teams and groups through decision-making processes and timely decisions* Ability to drive, lead and manage through organizational change and periods of ambiguity and with a willingness to challenge the status quo* Proven management of talent across different cultures, backgrounds, languages, and seniorities* Proven ability in working effectively with cross-functional partners, influence without authority and ability to create buy-in and alignment driving commercial strategies and investment decisions.* An action- and solution-oriented approach to complex organizations and functions**Education:*** Required: Bachelor's Degree* Preferred: MSc, PhD or MBA**Required Experience & Skills:*** Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical & diagnostic marketing, with a strong focus on oncology* Experience in launch preparation & global roll out of diagnostics & Precision Medicine solutions* Deep scientific understanding of molecular targets and diagnostic technologies* Proven ability to work with many areas of marketing management including strategy development, competitive dynamics, and issues management in a highly complex and dynamic environment.* Partner with clinical development team and external Dx partners to further refine target product profile and Go-to-market strategy* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.* Partner with clinical development team and external Dx partners to further refine target product profile and Go-to-market strategy**Travel:*** Up to 25 %**Location:*** Rahway, NJ, Upper Gwynedd, PA (USA)**Required Skills:**Accountability, Business Development Initiatives, Clinical Development, Communication, Decision Making, Developing Pricing Strategies, Innovation, Leadership, Market Development, Market Research, Oncology Marketing, People Leadership, Product Launch Support, Relationship Building, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Strategic Communication Management, Strategic Thinking, Talent Management**Preferred Skills:**Current Employees applyCurrent Contingent Workers apply**US and Puerto Rico Residents Only:**Our company is committed to inclusion, ensuring that candidates can engage in a hiring process that exhibits their true capabilities.
