The Sales Engineer will be a pivotal link between our Sales, Account Management, and Engineering teams, focusing primarily on delivering engaging and tailored software demonstrations. Your expertise in showcasing the capabilities and benefits of our End to End Encryption Platform will be crucial in driving customer engagement. Alongside conducting demos, you'll support sales and account managers by developing proof of concepts, guiding clients through demo processes, and advising on custom solutions for secure data transfer needs. Your role will also involve relaying customer feedback to our engineering team, ensuring our solutions continuously evolve to meet market demands. This position is key to maintaining our leadership in secure data transfer technologies.

What you’ll do

Develop a deep understanding of our software capabilities, integrations and configurations

Drive customer facing product demonstrations alongside sales team members - customer demos will be a key part of this role!

Assist with the technical implementation of our integrations with Zendesk, Freshdesk, and Service Cloud, for new and legacy customers

Work with our large base of enterprise customers to discover and build new ways to integrate our application into existing business processes

Educate customers on best practices related to the help desk integrations, new product features, etc

Contribute to the technical enablement of the Sales Team

Always have an ear for nuggets of product feedback and help the Product team prioritize feature and functionality development

Requirements

2-4 years of professional experience in a relevant role such as a Product Specialist, Solutions Consultant, Engineer, SR Account Executive, etc.

Experience running customer facing demos in high volume

Experience working in a quota attaining role and ability to show record of success year in and year out

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Development, Business or relevant field

Understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and ticketing/CRM systems like Zendesk, SalesForce ServiceCloud, or Freshdesk

Creativity, technical aptitude, and a naturally persuasive personality

Willingness and ability to give and receive constructive feedback

Excellent organization & time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize projects

Demonstrated comfort with owning discovery calls with customers, discussing strategy with colleagues, and bringing new project/product requests to Product and Customer Success

You may also have

Consulting experience

Previous experience with OpenPGP, data security, or cryptography

Prior success developing internal tools
