We are currently seeking a Chief Sales Engineer - Commercial Ground Vehicle for our business headquartered in Wilson, NC. Area of Expertise:
Strong engineering background with specific strengths in commercial vehicle design standards (bus, truck, automotive) responsible for engineered systems on Commercial Ground Vehicles. Program Management to drive products to completion through engineering and bring new products to new markets. Area of Focus:
Promote the consistent and unified direction of all applications engineers globally. Conduct consistent risk hazard analysis for PMark and new/existing bus chassis system configurations. Manage application certifications for all new builds on chassis as required by end-users. Oversee consistent testing and new product introduction on a global basis, including relevant standards and best practices. Develop new product applications in new markets globally, with a strong focus on Europe. Seek out lower-cost and new alternatives to current offerings. Level of Responsibility:
Responsible for entire projects with significant scope and complexity. Contribute to the department or business unit by applying advanced knowledge of one or more functional areas. Develop and coach team members. Possess expert knowledge extending across multiple disciplines. Education / Certifications:
BA/BS Degree with 6-10+ years of experience. MA/MS Degree with 4-7+ years of experience. Experience / Qualifications:
Must have an engineering degree. Electrical engineering preferred. At least 4+ years of automotive engineering experience. Bus/heavy truck experience preferred. Previous management experience preferred. Ideal Candidate:
