About the Role We're seeking a detail-oriented Funding Assistant to support the onboarding and funding of indirect auto loans. In this role, you will review loan packages for accuracy, authenticity, and compliance, ensuring all requirements are met before funds are released. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident working with documentation, data entry, and dealer communications.
Key Responsibilities
Loan Onboarding & Processing
Enter new indirect auto loans and required data into the core processing system.
Verify insurance forms, purchase orders, title/collateral details, disclosures, and member/loan information.
Confirm all funding conditions and documentation requirements are met before releasing funds.
Match trailing documents to contracts and ensure compliance prior to system release.
Prepare payoff quotes and process payoff letters/checks; execute rate modification agreements via DocuSign.
Maintain an updated daily loan pipeline and collaborate with Underwriters and Dealer Relationship Managers.
Compliance & Risk Management
Review loan documents for completeness and accuracy to mitigate risk and prevent fraud.
Conduct audits related to income verification, dealer packets, membership details, assignments, and dealer reserve payments.
Maintain proper documentation for auditing and quality control procedures.
Process chargeback activities, including checks and offsets, within required timelines.
Communication & Support
Provide timely updates to dealer partners and relationship managers throughout the funding process.
Handle incoming calls from members and internal teams.
Follow up with dealers regarding missing documents or additional stipulations.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $22.00/hr.
