Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Paralegal with 1-3 years of experience in pre-litigation and employment law. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our attorneys in case preparation, client communication, and document management. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Client Intake and Communication:

Conduct initial client intake calls and interviews

Gather and organize relevant information from clients

Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the pre-litigation process

Provide updates on case status and explain legal procedures to clients

Address client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner

Case Preparation and Management:

Assist attorneys in preparing demand letters and settlement proposals

Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, and correspondence

Conduct legal research and analyze relevant statutes, regulations, and case law

Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible

Manage case deadlines and ensure timely filing of all necessary documents

Document Management:

Review and analyze client documents and evidence

Prepare and organize exhibits for demand packages and potential litigation

Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and physical case files

Ensure proper handling and storage of confidential client information

Employment Law Support:

Assist in reviewing employment contracts, policies, and handbooks

Help prepare for administrative hearings and mediations

Conduct research on employment laws and regulations

Assist in drafting employment-related documents, such as severance agreements and non-disclosure agreements

Administrative Tasks:

Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and client appointments

Prepare and send correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and other parties

Maintain attorney calendars and manage deadlines

Assist with billing and time entry

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field

1-3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in pre-litigation and employment law

Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and documentation

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in legal research tools and databases

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
