Pivot Cycles is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support our growing legal and compliance functions. In this role, you’ll work closely with executive leadership and external counsel to manage a wide range of corporate legal matters, including contracts, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your work directly supports our global operations and innovation in the cycling industry. This is an in-house position located in Tempe, AZ.
Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate dealer agreements, distribution contracts, vendor agreements, and supply agreements
Trademark Portfolio: Maintain trademark portfolio across multiple jurisdictions, coordinate filings and renewals with outside counsel, monitor for infringement
Corporate Governance: Maintain corporate records, prepare board materials, manage entity compliance across jurisdictions
Litigation Support: Coordinate with outside counsel on active matters, manage document production and discovery
Regulatory Compliance: Track compliance requirements for bicycle and e-bike sales across US states and international markets
Outside Counsel Management: Serve as primary contact for law firms, manage engagement letters, track legal spending against budget
Paralegal certificate or bachelor's degree with 3-5 years corporate/commercial paralegal experience
Experience with contract drafting and negotiation
Strong understanding of corporate governance and entity management
Familiarity with trademark and IP portfolio management
Experience working with international legal matters preferred
Strong working knowledge of contract management software and legal research tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products
Passion for cycling and the outdoor culture is highly desired
