Description

Preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation

Developing various technical and programmatic documents with support from subject matter experts and engineers

Ensuring technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets government specifications, and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style

Writing and editing technical documentation for hardware and software to include installation, configuration, and how-to documentation

Supporting other technical papers as needed

Supporting training documentation development to include user guides and IETMs

Writing and updating material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures, and installation, operation, and maintenance

Refining, heading, and coordinating activities of writers engaged in preparing technical, scientific, medical, or other material for publication in conjunction with or independent from manufacturing, research, and related activities

Requirements

Bachelor's level degree in any field

Five years directly supporting C4I technical writing

Desired Skills

Microsoft Office Suite experience

Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) experience

Clearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY
