Position Overview The Property Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a LIHTC community, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and a positive resident experience. This role requires strong knowledge of LIHTC regulations and the ability to independently manage files from start to finish. The company is open to promoting a strong Assistant Property Manager who is ready to step into a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of a LIHTC property
Ensure full compliance with LIHTC and other affordable housing regulations
Manage certifications and recertifications from beginning to endReview and approve applicant files for accuracy and compliance
Maintain organized documentation and audit-ready files
Lead leasing and occupancy efforts while maintaining strong resident relations
Supervise onsite staff and foster a positive team environment
Monitor property performance and meet occupancy and financial goals
Collaborate with corporate leadership and regional teams
Qualifications
MUST HAVE LIHTC EXPERIENCE
Proven ability to run a file from beginning to end (certifications and compliance documentation)
Experience in affordable housing property management
Strong organizational and compliance knowledge
Leadership ability and readiness to take ownership of a community
Assistant Property Managers with strong LIHTC experience and leadership potential are encouraged to apply
