Monterey Ranch is a 1072-unit apartment community in South Austin, TX. Monterey Ranch amenities include 5 swimming pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center, 2 tennis courts, soccer field, and a community center with a movie theater.

About the Role:

Northland is looking for a motivated Leasing Coordinator to join our team. The Leasing Consultant represents Northland by delivering a top-tier customer experience to residents and prospects alike. In this role, responsibilities include, but are not limited to, apartment leasing, conducting community tours, supporting resident retention and satisfaction initiatives, and executing community-focused marketing efforts.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound calls, balancing walk-ins and scheduled appointments, and supporting the onsite team as needed. This role oversees closing ratios, lead follow-ups, and application approvals while staying informed on market trends, competitor occupancy, pricing, amenities, and concessions.

Northland’s leasing team consistently maintains the highest level of professionalism and customer service when working with residents, vendors, and guests. As part of our commitment to delivering a top-tier experience, leasing team members may be required to assist on weekends as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation:

Prior leasing experience is required. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively while adhering to deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with employees, residents, and vendors. Ability to manage closing ratios, lead follow-ups, and application approvals with accuracy and attention to detail. Working weekend shifts may be required and will be discussed during the interview process. Travel may be required to assist other properties or attend training sessions. May be required to operate a golf cart to travel throughout the property.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time, climb, bend, and squat. Must be able to occasionally push, pull, lift, and carry weights up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
