We are looking to recruit a Warehouse / Counter Sales Assistant to join a great family-run business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is mechanically minded, enjoys dealing with customers, and is keen to be involved in the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse and trade counter operation. A part-time option is also available for the right person.

Key responsibilities
Receive, check and organise incoming deliveries
Pick, pack and prepare goods for dispatch accurately and efficiently
Serve customers at the trade counter, offering advice and product support
Process sales orders and handle payments
Assist with stock control, counts and inventory checks
Load and unload vans, working closely with delivery drivers
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
Support colleagues across the business with general operational duties
About you
Mechanically minded with an interest in tools, parts or machinery
Confident and friendly when dealing with customers
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
Hands‑on and proactive with a positive team attitude
Reliable, punctual and well‑organised
Good attention to detail when working with stock and systems
Previous warehouse, trade counter or sales experience is essential
