Job Name: Medical Customer Service Representative
True Title: Pharmacy Care Coordinator
Location: San Antonio, TX 78257
Duration: 4+ months Contract (possibilities of extension)
Pay rate: $12 - 13.14/hr. On W2 (Pay Rate is based on experience/educational qualifications)
Schedule: 8‑hour shift between 8 am - 6 pm (40 hrs. wk.) | Mon - Fri (5 days/wk.)
Job Responsibilities
Conduct high-volume outbound member calls (auto-dialer) to address medication non-compliance, schedule pharmacy telephonic visits, and obtain provider follow-up information
Thrive in high-volume call center environments while consistently meeting weekly and monthly productivity standards
Deliver high-quality customer service to internal teams, providers, and members
Multitask across multiple systems/applications to provide accurate, real-time information
Manage escalated inquiries across queues, fax portals, claims systems, and documentation platforms
Accurately document member and provider interactions in appropriate records and systems
Support clinical staff and leadership with administrative tasks, reports, projects, and specialized assignments
Collaborate with PCPs and clinics to support quality data collection and close care gaps
Maintain strict confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, professionalism, and adherence to organizational and departmental policies
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in a call center environment
1+ years of experience in Customer Service
Background in a Healthcare setting (Familiarity with Healthcare Terminology needed)
