Contact Center Customer Service Representative I
in
Farmington, CT . If you’re comfortable handling high-volume customer interactions and enjoy supporting customers through clear, professional communication, this role places you at the center of service and spare parts operations. You’ll manage calls, emails, and tickets while processing cases, quotes, and orders with accuracy. The position begins fully on-site for training and transitions to a hybrid schedule once training is complete.
What You’ll Do
Respond to a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls, emails, and service tickets
Maintain a high level of professionalism and build positive rapport with internal and external customers
Identify customer needs and deliver accurate, timely solutions
Create and manage customer cases using information provided by customers
Enter quotes and orders promptly and accurately
Review customer purchase orders for accuracy and request updates when needed
Provide order status updates, tracking details, and general account support
Utilize SAP and other systems to process and document customer requests
Follow established communication procedures, guidelines, and service standards
Navigate multiple systems and screens while maintaining accuracy
What You’ll Bring
Previous customer service experience required (call center experience strongly preferred)
Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
Patient, diplomatic communication style with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP or CRM experience required
Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree preferred
Schedule & Pay
Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM–6:30 PM | Full-Time
$19.00–$20.00/hr | Weekly Pay
Long-Term Temp with potential for hire based on performance
Hybrid schedule after training: 3 days in office, 2 days remote
