Requirements As a
Lien Resolution Specialist , you will provide expert lien negotiation and resolution services for personal injury settlements through
Synergy Lien Resolution Services (SLRS) . You’ll manage complex lien portfolios and work directly with attorneys, lien holders, and internal teams to drive successful outcomes.
This is a
remote, full-time role
ideal for a self‑motivated professional who enjoys problem‑solving, negotiation, and making a meaningful difference.
What You’ll Do Lien Management & Negotiation
Manage and negotiate a diverse inventory of liens from start to resolution
Work directly with ERISA/private insurers, Medicaid, Medicare, Military plans, FEHBA, hospitals, providers, and other lien holders
Strategic Case Development
Analyze cases holistically to develop effective negotiation strategies
Independently draft persuasive correspondence using legal research and case‑specific facts
Leverage Synergy tools and third‑party resources to support strong reduction arguments
Efficiency & Organization
Maintain accurate documentation of calls, emails, and strategy notes
Ensure all reduction requests, offers, and lien closure letters are properly filed
Audit claim summaries for accuracy and duplication
Follow established policies and procedures while adapting to new processes
Client Communication & Support
Communicate with clients via phone, email, and the Connexion portal
Provide consultations and demonstrate subject‑matter expertise to attorney clients
Serve as a trusted resource to internal teams, including sales, lien specialists, and leadership
Team Collaboration
Participate in lien‑type sessions and team meetings
Share insights, strategies, and best practices to elevate team performance
What We’re Looking For Required Skills & Abilities
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Exceptional organization, follow‑up, and attention to detail
Professional, confident communicator with clients and internal partners
Ability to think critically and creatively when crafting negotiation strategies
Self‑directed, dependable, and comfortable working remotely
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
5+ years of hands‑on experience in lien resolution (required)
JD or Paralegal Certification strongly preferred
Training or certifications in negotiation or conflict resolution are a plus
