
Metro Ford of Madison is seeking a Parts Counterperson to join our team in Madison, WI. This key role involves providing exceptional customer service by efficiently managing parts sales and inventory to support both customers and service technicians.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers promptly and professionally at the parts counter.
Process parts orders accurately and ensure timely delivery to customers and service staff.
Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to replenish stock as needed.
Maintain organized and clean parts area to facilitate easy access and efficient workflow.
Utilize computer systems to look up parts information, availability, and pricing.
Work closely with service department to fulfill parts requests and support repair work.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues or elevate as necessary.
Requirements
Previous experience in Ford automotive parts or related retail environment preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Computer proficiency, including parts catalog software and inventory systems.
Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts and terminology is a plus.
Saturday rotation will be required.
