Location: REMOTE - Anywhere in US (but will need to travel to Raritan, NJ for meetings)

Mandatory skills: 10+ years of strong experience on D365 Marketing Configuration and Customization
Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Technical Architect to lead the end‑to‑end architecture, design, and technical delivery of Dynamics 365 Marketing (Customer Insights – Journeys). This role ensures scalable, secure, and high‑performing marketing solutions integrated across CRM, data, and enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Own the technical architecture for D365 Marketing, including data models, integrations, and platform governance
Design scalable customer journey frameworks, real‑time event triggers, segmentation pipelines, and personalization models
Lead technical solutioning across Dataverse, Power Platform, Customer Insights – Data, and external systems
Define integration patterns (APIs, connectors, event‑based architecture) with CRM, ERP, websites, and MarTech tools
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CAN‑SPAM, HIPAA, etc.)
Oversee technical delivery, code reviews, performance tuning, and environment management
Guide BA, functional, and development teams with best practices and architectural standards
Stay ahead of Microsoft roadmap updates and recommend platform enhancements
Required Skills & Experience
Deep technical expertise in Dynamics 365 Marketing / Customer Insights – Journeys
Strong knowledge of Dataverse, Power Platform, Azure services (Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps), and integration frameworks
Experience designing scalable marketing architectures, real‑time journeys, and data‑driven personalization
Hands‑on experience with APIs, event‑driven systems, identity management, and security models
Proven ability to lead technical teams and collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in large enterprise or regulated industries
Knowledge of D365 Sales, Customer Insights – Data, and Azure DevOps
Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Azure
Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for the position depends on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate and is between $115,000/year - $130,000/year. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
