JREQ135082We are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join our U.S. Income Tax Team within Clarivate’s Global Finance organization in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This is an amazing opportunity to work on complex U.S. federal, state, and local income tax compliance and ASC 740 tax provision for a global, publicly traded company. The team consists of 10–15 U.S. income tax professionals and reports to the Manager, Tax. We have a strong skill set in U.S. domestic income tax compliance and ASC 740, and we would love to speak with you if you have experience in federal and state income tax compliance for large, multistate corporations.**About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments**
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent, relevant work experience
• 2+ years of U.S. federal, state, and local income tax compliance experience within a complex, publicly traded environment**It would be great if you also have…**• Master of Taxation degree and/or CPA or EA certification
• Notary License
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Oracle, NetSuite, OneStream
• Experience with OneSource Provision and Income Tax software• Strong knowledge of state apportionment rules, nexus standards, and income tax sourcing
• Direct experience preparing or reviewing ASC 740 income tax provision calculations
• Demonstrated analytical, research, and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret U.S. tax laws and regulations
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for cross functional collaboration• Assist with all aspects of U.S. federal, state, and local income tax compliance, ensuring accuracy, deadline adherence, and conformity with tax regulations
• Prepare quarterly and annual U.S. income tax provisions and disclosures in accordance with ASC 740
• Support the processing of extensions and quarterly estimated tax payments for federal, state, and local jurisdictions
• Analyze and prepare responses to federal, state, and local tax notices and various tax-related correspondence
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather information necessary for accurate tax filings
• Partner with the Tax Provision team to produce quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations and documentation
• Work closely with the Tax Manager on federal and state R&D tax credit calculations
• Monitor state tax nexus and compliance requirements to identify risks or potential exposure
• Assist with federal, state, and local tax audits and other special projects as needed**About the Team**The Global Tax Team at Clarivate includes 40+ tax professionals around the world. As part of the U.S. Income Tax Team, you’ll work alongside 10–15 colleagues specializing in compliance, tax provision, and technical tax matters. The team partners closely with finance, accounting, and business leaders to support tax reporting, compliance, strategic initiatives, and risk mitigation. This role offers exposure to tax leadership, cross department collaboration, and the opportunity to contribute to Clarivate’s overall global tax strategy.**Hours of Work**This is a fulltime, permanent position working core EST business hours.
