The
Director of Girls Brands
leads the strategy, development, and performance of Goliath’s portfolio of brands targeted toward girls. This role sets the vision for the category, drives innovation, and ensures sustained growth through effective brand management, product development, and marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities Category Strategy & Leadership
Define and execute the long-term strategy for the Girls portfolio
Identify new brand opportunities and growth initiatives
Establish category positioning and competitive differentiation
Set performance targets and monitor results
Team & Brand Leadership
Lead and develop Brand Managers responsible for Girls brands
Provide strategic direction and oversight of brand plans
Allocate resources based on priorities and growth potential
Product & Innovation Oversight
Guide product development pipeline for Girls brands
Ensure offerings align with consumer trends and market needs
Partner with R&D and design teams on innovation strategy
Marketing & Commercial Execution
Oversee marketing strategies and major product launches
Partner with Sales on retail strategy and key account initiatives
Present category plans to executive leadership and retail partners
Cross-Functional Alignment
Coordinate with International teams for global brand consistency
Collaborate with licensors and external partners as needed
Qualifications
8+ years of brand management experience in toys or consumer products
Leadership experience managing teams
Proven ability to drive category growth
Strong strategic, financial, and analytical skills
Executive-level communication and presentation abilities
