$61.82–$102.29/hr on W2 (Only on W2)

Interview Format:

Three rounds – 1: Hiring Manager Video (30 min); 2: Panel Video (45 min – portfolio presentation); 3: Final Interview Video (45 min)

The team collaborates with key partners to build solutions for Marketing, Customer Engagement, Medical Affairs, Public Affairs & Access (CMG), and other patient‑ and customer‑facing teams. We are accountable for:

Defining omnichannel solutions and engagement strategies; designing, operationalizing, and producing seamless, consistent, meaningful experiences.

Accelerating and enabling the development of digital solutions that enhance the patient and customer experience across CMG.

Advancing the mission of seamless, consistent, meaningful experiences that maximize patient impact while keeping compliance at the forefront.

Job Summary The Principal Experience Designer will drive strategy and delivery within the Customer Experience (CX) Suite. They will ensure that UX/UI and CX design strategies accelerate the organization’s progress toward delivering great customer experiences and business impact. The role is a key individual contributor and subject‑matter expert, applying UX/UI design expertise to digital products and mentoring junior designers.

Key Responsibilities

Shape digital‑forward Experience Design vision and standards, leveraging industry/competitive trends and product suite priorities.

Partner with Sr. Director and Director of Experience Design to align vision, product standards, stakeholder priorities, and technical capabilities.

Develop innovation workstreams that drive experimentation within the product‑oriented model.

Define target users with analytics partners, understand research, prioritize features, and set performance objectives.

Own Experience Design initiatives in partnership with senior leadership, delivering milestones and measurable business outcomes.

Evangelize the value of UX/UI and CX Design to senior leaders and stakeholders.

Collaborate with leadership to prioritize and resolve conflicts to advance product roadmaps.

Work with UX/UI Analysts to align business outcomes with technical feasibility.

Coordinate with Business Product Owners and Executive Directors to meet patient, professional, and internal customer needs.

Partner with global product managers for shared learnings and efficiencies.

Define business cases and support budgetary/funding needs.

Drive product requirements for usage and system health, leveraging GNE and industry standards.

Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies.

Partner with measurement and optimization owners to inform CX and UX advancements.

Mentor and coach junior design team members, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Cultivate an environment of design craft and quality within the team.

Who You Are Minimum Candidate Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, operations, science, marketing, or a related field.

10+ years of experience, with 7 years in experience design, product design, UX design, or a related field.

Ability to own and manage the full product lifecycle, including visioning, roadmap creation, execution, and impact measurement.

Strong stakeholder alignment skills for cross‑functional collaboration.

Strong mentorship and guidance abilities.

Excellent communication skills to drive change, influence stakeholders, and evangelize the product vision.

Experience working in an agile setting or mentoring agile best practices.

Experience collaborating with Legal, Compliance, and Privacy teams to ensure adherence to governance and regulatory standards.

Ability to innovate and foster experimentation.

Proven ability to adapt to ambiguous or evolving environments.

Strong problem‑solving and strategic thinking skills, balancing short‑term execution and long‑term vision.

Additional Desired Candidate Qualifications and Experience

Advanced degree or equivalent experience (e.g., MBA).

Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated industries.

Proven success in managing complex projects requiring strategic planning and operational execution.

Advanced knowledge of workflow tools, automation systems, and compliance frameworks.

Experience building and managing a design system.
