Job Summary

Directs the Facilities and Maintenance Services of the Credit Union’s Branch Facilities. Supports the Branch Facilities Team with the management of the Credit Union’s Branches, tenants and departments occupying space within the branch, off-site locations, and properties. Ensures a professional image is consistently maintained, enhanced quality service is adhered to, and all Branch needs are addressed while supporting the image and branding of the credit union. LOCATION Mountain America - Tanner Building West Jordan, Utah • This role requires approximately 25% travel to support business needs SCHEDULE

Full-Time Directs the Northern, Central and Southern Branch Facilities Assistant Managers (BFAM), as it pertains to their daily job responsibilities, duties, tasks and projects, their personal development, goal setting and achievement of goals, as well as providing them with ample opportunity to grow and enhance their skills. Oversees and manages the BFAM in their management of the Branch Facilities Maintenance Technicians (BFMT), as it pertains to their daily job responsibilities, duties, tasks and projects, their personal development, goal setting and achievement of goals, as well as providing them with ample opportunity to grow and enhance their skills. Offers support and assistance to the BFAM with any needs as it pertains to the management of the BFMT, including goal setting, achievements and disciplinary actions. Ensure the Team adheres to the same professional image, consistently maintaining, enhancing quality service, and addressing all needs while supporting the image and branding of the credit union. Ensure Facility Standards are adhered to, while also encouraging the Team to continually monitor Branches for compliance to said Standards. Assist in managing branch-space utilization data and planning for organizational growth projections, capital project prioritization, and design facilitation. To include special projects as required in branches. Manage the contracted services for branch locations and ensures that all contracts meet MACU guidelines and standards. Responsible for overseeing the appropriate response and resolution on all Branch Tenants/Department needs, issues and concerns in a timely and efficient manner. Must have the ability to delegate duties/tasks/projects accordingly and then follow up as needed to ensure quality and budget constraints are adhered to. Responsible for overseeing the coordination with the Real Estate and Construction Team on contractual obligations, risk assessment and lease guidelines for Property Management of Branch Tenant spaces as well as vacant properties. Responsible for overseeing the development of the landscape and janitorial scope of work and budgetary needs including obtaining competitive bids as it pertains to branches. Responsible for overseeing the review of annual contracts for landscape and janitorial vendors. Responsible for overseeing the coordination with BFMT to perform annual inspections to determine needs and develop the necessary scope of work, budget and Project Charter for refreshes/refurbishes. Oversees the continuation of the coordination for scheduling, monitoring, completion of and reconciliation of the project. Provides on-time, on-schedule, and on-scope project delivery. Monitors the performance of Risk Assessment on each vendor/sub-contractor for landscape and janitorial. Responsible for reviewing invoices to original proposals for accuracy and approves within limit. Assist Corporate Facilities Team with the management of Space Planning data, changes, etc. Frequent travel to the credit union branches is required. Five to eight years of similar or related experience preferred. Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred with preferred course of study in Facilities Management, Property Management, Construction Management or Business Management OR a minimum of 5 years related experience. Licenses, Certifications, Registrations

Valid Driver’s license with good driving record. FMP, CFM, CPM or PPI will be required, or to obtain within a reasonable timeframe after hire. Managerial Responsibility

Has leadership/managerial responsibilities that are direct or through work leaders or assistants, typically with a subordinate group of 3 to 10 employees. Estimates personnel needs and assigns work to meet these needs. Supervises, coordinates and reviews the work of assigned staff. Recommends candidates for employment, conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff, and applies company policy. Computer/Office Equipment Skills

Intermediate to advanced skills in the following: calculator, computer operating skills (windows navigation, mouse/keyboard functionality), Microsoft Outlook, Must have the ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute. Language Skills

Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to read and follow instructions. Other Skills and Abilities

Possess a desire and willingness to learn and continually update knowledge of financial concepts, strategies, systems etc. PHYSICAL ABILITIES / WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Demands: Ability to sit, talk and hear consistently; Ability to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or reach occasionally Vision Requirements: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more) Weight Lifted or Force Exerted: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally may need to lift up to 50 pounds. Environmental: There are no unusual environmental factors (such as a typical office) Noise Environment: Moderate noise (business office with computers and printers, light traffic) This Job is not eligible to be performed in Colorado or Connecticut, either remotely or in-person.
