Search Solution Group is seeking a Contract Content Creator/Writer on behalf of our client, a leading retirement plan adviser specializing in helping small and medium-sized businesses, non-profits, and government organizations deliver high-quality retirement solutions for their employees. This high-visibility role is responsible for developing and executing strategic B2B content that drives engagement, supports sales and service teams, generates leads, and contributes to revenue growth. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic content planning and exceptional writing expertise to deliver compelling content across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement comprehensive B2B content strategies aligned with business objectives and target audiences
Develop content tailored to retirement plan sponsors (B2B) and plan participants (B2BC), ensuring clarity and compliance
Conduct audience segmentation and persona development to create targeted messaging
Map content to the buyer journey across awareness, consideration, and decision stages
Plan and manage multi-channel content distribution including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, webinars, and social media
Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex retirement and financial concepts into clear, engaging content
Partner with marketing, sales, and product teams to support lead generation and conversion efforts
Produce thought leadership content that positions the organization as an industry authority
Develop and manage editorial calendars to ensure timely content delivery
Track and analyze content performance metrics and optimize strategies using data-driven insights
Maintain brand voice, tone, and style consistency across all content
Write and edit short-form and long-form content, including blogs, eBooks, research reports, and executive-level pieces
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
Advanced degree preferred
Experience
7+ years of experience in B2B content strategy and writing
Experience in highly technical or regulated industries preferred
Skills
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
Strong understanding of SEO and content marketing best practices
Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
Proficiency with marketing automation and analytics tools (e.g., Marketo or similar platforms)
Strong project management and deadline management skills
