Position Overview As a Traveling Merchandiser, you’ll service multiple retail locations—and at times beyond—supporting large-scale resets, merchandising initiatives, and store projects. This role requires extensive travel and the ability to work independently while maintaining strong relationships with store leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Travel extensively (80–100%), including overnight and multi-state trips
Execute merchandising resets, planogram (POG) compliance, and product placement
Install fixtures and complete light inventory tasks
Capture detailed before-and-after photos of completed work
Check and replenish backstock as needed
Identify and report inventory discrepancies or display issues
Communicate professionally with store managers during every visit
Submit accurate reports and photos through company mobile apps or systems
Qualifications
Previous retail merchandising or reset experience preferred
Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret visual instructions and planograms
Self‑motivated with the ability to manage a flexible schedule independently
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Comfortable using mobile apps and reporting tools
