We are currently looking to expand our ever-growing team by hiring an Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker to support our residential and commercial production teams in St. Louis and Southern, IL.

Work we perform:

Metal roofing and accessories including flashing, gutters, soffit, fascia, cladding, and shop fabrication

Steep slope roofing - Asphalt shingles, cedar shakes, slate, tile, etc

Low slope roofing - TPO, EPDM, and Modified

Responsibilities Metal Fabrication / Ordering

Perform field measurements and verify

Conceptualize and create layout

Fabricate metal as specified

Order pre-engineered metal trim pieces

Proper operation and maintenance of metal fabricating tools and equipment

Maintain metal inventory

Deliver fabricated metal to job site

Metal Installation

Flash masonry walls and chimneys

Install pre-engineer low slope roof accessories

Roof edge metal

Parapet wall caps

Commercial gutters and downspouts

Scuppers and collector boxes

Safety

Abide by all job-site and warehouse safety requirements, including PPE, fall protection and others.

Report all situations improperly protected.

Refuse to put oneself or others in a situation deemed unsafe by OSHA or company policy.

Qualifications

Merit based pay

3-5 years of metal fabrication

Ability to fabricate, install, and service modern metal roofs

Ability to fabricate, install, and service flashing and metal accessories

Ability to solder and weld light gauge metals

Traditional metal working technique is a plus.

Experience with computerized metal brake a plus.

High school diploma or higher education
