Full-Time | Field-Based | $65,000 Base + Commission

Position Overview The Sales Development Representative is responsible for driving new business and expanding relationships within the automotive repair equipment installation and service industry. This field-based role focuses on identifying prospects, developing customer relationships, presenting tailored solutions, and closing profitable business within an assigned territory.
You will represent industry-leading brands including Hunter, Robinair, and other top‑tier manufacturers, helping repair facilities improve efficiency, safety, and performance.
What You’ll Do
Prospect and generate new business through research, networking, referrals, and cold outreach
Develop and maintain strong long‑term relationships with independent repair shops and dealerships
Present and demonstrate Hunter wheel alignment, balancing, and inspection systems
Conduct on‑site visits to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions
Prepare, present, and negotiate sales proposals and contracts
Close profitable deals and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
Partner with installation and service teams to ensure seamless customer experience
Maintain accurate tracking and pipeline management within CRM
Stay current on product offerings, promotions, competitors, and industry trends
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle
What You Bring
3+ years of sales experience (automotive equipment industry strongly preferred)
Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close business
Strong presentation and relationship‑building skills
High level of organization and attention to detail
Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently in a field‑based role
Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within territory
Education High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
Ability to travel to and visit customer sites regularly
Compensation & Opportunity
Base Salary: $65,000
Commission: Performance‑based earning potential
