About The Role As HR Business Partner you will be responsible for the provision of an innovative, effective and customer focussed HR Service. This post is part of a dedicated and proactive HR team that are visible and embedded in the business. This post is based at our office in Bury St.Edmunds (1 day a week flexible working) with some travel across regions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Delivering the People Plan as part of a dedicated HR Team, and alongside business leaders

Working closely with employees to implement people plans locally

Facilitating HR programmes including performance management and policy implementation

Supporting and facilitating contentious issues that have escalated or that involve senior management

Working proactively with the business to ensure there is a positive Employee Relations environment, and strong levels of employee engagement in the region

Co‑ordinating and managing Employee engagement activity in the region

Working with the Senior Managers to drive up line management capability and ownership of people management

Working with leadership teams to facilitate succession planning and coaching

Helping to drive performance across the business through MI

Initiating, leading and supporting HR projects

Working to ensure training needs are identified and addressed

Facilitating the recruitment and assessment process for roles in the business area

Ensuring the delivery of customer centric and supportive HR service

About You Knowledge Skills and Experience

CIPD Level 5 or equivalent

Developing and managing change programmes

Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage with, and influence a range of stakeholders

Reporting and providing insight

Policy implementation, performance management, and employee relations

Strong commercial awareness, business understanding

Confidence in dealing with contentious issues, using professionalism and confidentiality

Strong team ethic with the ability to work across departments, preferably in a matrix structure

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proven experience of prioritising work in an environment with changing priorities
