
Capitol City Ford is hiring a parts counter person.
Counter people work with our techs to identify their parts needs.
Responsibilities
Maintain strong product knowledge of auto parts, warranties, promotions, and sales programs
Oversee the parts sales process from tech inquiry to finding the part to invoicing
Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
Communicate with technicians on the status of any parts ordered and notify them upon delivery to the dealership
Perform other duties as assigned
Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry

Pay is based on department sales, percentage is based on experience, with potential to make $60k to $85k a year.

Qualifications
Previous automotive parts counter experience in either a retail store or other setting where finding the right part was an essential function of the job
Ford experience is a huge PLUS
Ability to look up parts in parts cataloging systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsPeople focused and obsessed with providing great customer service
Strong organizational and time management skills
Professional appearance and strong work ethic
Proficient computer skills
