We are looking for a skilled and experienced
Commercial Construction Superintendent
to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and according to the highest quality standards. This is a key leadership position within the company, where you will have the opportunity to directly impact the success of our construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to the project plan, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Manage construction schedules to ensure timely project completion, while maintaining a focus on high-quality workmanship.
Lead and coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople, and construction teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and communication across all parties.
Inspect ongoing work regularly to verify compliance with architectural and engineering specifications.
Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all on-site personnel.
Address any on-site issues, discrepancies, or unforeseen challenges, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns related to project progress.
Maintain accurate records, including daily reports, equipment logs, and personnel records, to track construction progress and ensure accountability.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience
as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role in commercial construction.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
Proven leadership ability with excellent communication skills to effectively manage teams and contractors.
Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
