To assist the Property Manager in all facets of golf course maintenance with major emphasis on fertilizer and plant protectant applications; irrigation system operation and repair; record keeping; staff management; daily course set up and surveillance, etc.
Educational Requirements
Minimum of certificate in golf course management plus a college degree or associate degree in turf management Experience Requirements
5 years minumum experience in golf course maintenance Special Requirements
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude are highly valued . Medical/Dental insurance; 401K; sick leave; vacation ; Christmas bonus; uniforms; dues for GCSAA and local assn.; Meals and housing are provided on site; golf privileges; educational fees; Support to help you graduate from here as a superintendent if you so chose. A high percentage of our alumni become superintendents - 30 to date.
