
POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Director of Marketing at Wurth Industry will lead the strategic development and execution of integrated marketing initiatives that drive brand growth, customer acquisition, and retention. This role is responsible for building best‑in‑class marketing capabilities across paid media, email, promotions, creative, print and channel marketing. The ideal candidate is a data‑driven, collaborative leader with deep expertise in performance marketing, brand strategy, and customer segmentation. They will work cross‑functionally with Product Management, Sales, Merchandising, and Technology to deliver seamless, multi‑channel customer experiences and measurable business impact.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with company goals and drives top‑ and bottom‑line growth.
Lead the development of segmentation strategies in partnership with Sales to optimize customer targeting and engagement across channels.
Build and lead a high‑performing team focused on acquisition, retention, and delivering seamless customer experiences.
Mentor and develop marketing talent across all levels, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Brand & Creative Direction
Define and evolve Wurth Industry's brand identity, voice, governance, and positioning across all touchpoints.
Lead brand architecture initiatives to ensure consistency across product lines, sub‑brands, and global markets.
Oversee internal creative teams and external agencies to deliver compelling campaigns, visuals, and storytelling.
Performance Marketing & Digital Execution
Own and manage the paid search and media budget, ensuring campaigns are optimized for revenue growth and meet quarterly forecasts.
Drive innovation in digital marketing channels including email, promotions, and channel‑specific strategies.
Lead the creation of integrated campaigns that include market insights, reputation management, demand generation, and sales enablement.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with internal stakeholders to develop commercial strategies and marketing plans that support product portfolios and solutions.
Collaborate with Finance to forecast investments, evaluate ROI, and build promotional plans that support business objectives.
Analytical & Financial Acumen
Interpret business performance metrics, P&Ls, and strategic direction to make informed marketing investment decisions.
Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies to maximize impact and efficiency.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Marketing, Communications, Business Management, Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in marketing, with a proven track record of driving business growth through strategic initiatives and in partnership with sales.
At least 8 years of experience leading SEM teams and developing comprehensive paid search strategies.
5+ years of hands‑on SEM experience within an eCommerce environment, managing paid search budgets of $5M or more.
8+ years of experience in people leadership, with a demonstrated ability to build and mentor high‑performing teams.
Proficient in web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or equivalent tools, with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications.
You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus.
An incentive bonus, if any, depends on various factors such as organizational performance.
