The Merchant Success team is responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy to grow and retain merchants after their initial launch with Buy with Prime (BwP) and Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) products. Merchant Success team members will navigate ambiguous business challenges while working directly across a network of internal and external cross-functional stakeholders. The Account Manager will create and implement strategies to effectively manage a portfolio of strategic customers using BwP and MCF, creating strong partnerships with rapidly growing businesses. You will leverage learnings from merchants to continuously improve internal processes, reduce merchant pain points, and influence product roadmaps based on strategic merchant priorities, to maximize long term growth potential and improve shopping and fulfillment experiences.

A Day in the Life As the primary owner of Mid-Market merchant relationships, you manage existing accounts through established strategies and growth initiatives. You drive merchant engagement, provide education, and remove growth barriers at scale. While primarily transactional in nature, your role requires balancing both transactional and strategic approaches based on merchant needs. You work independently while receiving structured coaching and support from management on strategy and goal-setting. Your responsibilities include evaluating and recommending custom solutions when applicable, securing necessary approvals from management and peers. Direct merchant interaction forms the core of your daily activities, including gathering feedback on best practices and identifying product features or obstacles. Success in this position requires strong problem-solving abilities to address merchant challenges and implement solutions for supported cases. You track growth and feature adoption metrics, provide accurate forecasting data to management, coordinate with cross-functional teams for specialized support, and contribute directly to organizational objectives through merchant success.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience

Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
