At AWS, we are looking for a Professional Services Area Leader with a successful record of leading FSI customers through transformative projects involving IT strategy, distributed architecture, and hybrid cloud operations.
Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and are obsessed with strong success for the customer. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization (#oneteam) to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.
This role will be responsible for building and leading the FSI ProServe NAMER CST team. Responsibilities will include growing the team, setting team priorities, providing thought leadership, business planning and shaping the offerings, go‑to‑market approach for ProServe with these customers. The position will be highly visible internally and externally, requiring communication and partnership with other teams within AWS such as customer and account sales, support, services teams, and broader ProServe stakeholders. You will represent your team to executive management and contribute to the operational cadence of business reviews (MBR, QBR), developing the approach to drive customer outcomes through ProServe, leading to increased ARR, ProServe revenue & margin while managing risk and quality for AWS.
Key job responsibilities
Leading and developing a high‑performing team of Account Executives and Cloud Architects
Developing and supporting execution of sales strategies to meet team targets and drive revenue growth
Managing customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying new opportunities
Leveraging deep AWS knowledge to guide sellers in proposing optimal solutions
Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting to optimize operational processes and manage risk
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of technology sales, or 3+ years of management experience
Experience with consulting practice leadership as manager of managers with team size 50+ and P&L responsibility
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field
Experience with cloud, server or infrastructure technologies and business models
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of IT and/or Management Consulting experience
Experience with vertical industry sales and delivery work of contemporary services and solutions
Experience working with and presenting to C‑level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
Experience relationship building and influencing at the C‑level of Fortune 500 customers

The base salary range for this position is USD 221,100.00 – 299,200.00 annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined by factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
