Job Overview Ebenezer Pharmacy is a closed-door Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy located in Arden Hills, MN. We specialize in packaging and distributing medications to nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Ebenezer Pharmacy is looking for an experienced Director of Pharmacy Operations/Pharmacist In Charge to join our expanding team and contribute to our mission of making a difference in senior living communities!

Normal operating hours Monday‑Friday 9:00 am‑7:00 pm, Saturday/Sunday 9:00 am‑5:00 pm. Must be available to work weekends on rotation.

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of pharmacy operations, ensuring full compliance with applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. The position provides leadership for the prescription fulfillment process and the pharmacy team, while maintaining a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Success in this role requires sound independent judgment, a thorough understanding of state‑specific regulatory requirements, and a strong commitment to advancing Ebenezer's mission and vision.

Responsibilities

Supervise Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and support staff.

Maintain appropriate security of pharmacy. Comply with all security measures.

Read, interpret, and enter prescriptions into the online pharmacy prescription system.

Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions filled. Review medication orders to evaluate accurate and appropriate drug choice, interactions, route of administration, and length of therapy.

Compound, fill, and dispense medications safely and efficiently. Prepare sterile and non‑sterile compounds.

Interact with patients, nurses, and physicians to gain knowledge and/or resolve patient issues.

Required Qualifications

Doctorate of Pharmacy

1 year Pharmacist

Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy practices and procedures.

Proficient knowledge of pharmacy information systems

Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.

Mathematical abilities such as calculating discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and volume; basic algebra; practical mathematics.

Ability to adapt to new technology, demonstrate clinical focus, and think critically.

Pharmacist MN Board of Pharm

Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)

Immunization Certified in state of MN

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience managing and operating a pharmacy

The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
