Develops, maintains and manages a professional financial consultation process and delivery experience within the service lane. Sets individual sales objectives and maintain productivity reports on all members of the service lane sales team individually and perform monthly, quarterly and annual reviews of staff. Coordinates and arranges delivery of all new and pre‑owned vehicles including dispatching deals to Finance Professionals. Ensures a high quality, effective, professional sales experience is provided to every customer. Maintains high ethical standards in daily activities. Departs from traditional ways of doing things as appropriate to ensure maximum results, customer satisfaction, and loyalty. Achieves sales, profit, and customer satisfaction and loyalty objectives through effective management of sales team. Maintains profitability of sales department. Monitors the flow of work in the sales department and intervenes as needed to ensure results are achieved. Works with sales consultants and customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Builds productive working relationships through clear communications. Has an approachable style; fosters open communication through active listening. Generates pride and commitment within the sales department; instills customer and employee confidence. Resolves employees’ concerns promptly and effectively. Speaks clearly, concisely, and effectively in one‑on‑one and group situations. Follows up with customers to ensure they are satisfied with their sales experience. Promotes cooperation and teamwork among sales employees and other departments. Evaluates employee performance regularly, providing feedback, coaching and counseling, training, and career guidance as necessary; follows disciplinary procedures as needed. Understands the critical relationship between employee satisfaction and high performance, and thereby creates a positive working environment for employees to grow and excel. Ensures employees receive ongoing training to gain and continually improve required skills and results. Solicits, encourages, and implements innovative methods/ideas to improve sales and performance. Delegates work as appropriate to ensure customer satisfaction and results while developing employee skills. Communicates Toyota of Scranton vision, insists on sound business ethics, and models exemplary customer service. Performs daily and weekly sales productivity meetings to ensure all sales staff perform at the highest level possible. Ensures all Professionals obtain and maintain all training requirements and certification levels. Directly manages and desks all deals to balance the need to generate maximum amounts of vehicle and finance gross profit while achieving Toyota sales efficiency. Directly manages all aspects of our Variable Operations from inventory ordering through delivery. Monitors inventory to ensure all units are certified, state inspected, fueled, and cleaned at all times. Directly manages and administers all Toyota programs and incentives. Performs trade in appraisals as necessary. Understands and applies available Toyota programs and incentives accordingly to maximize profitability. Ensures the dealership adheres to all state and local laws regarding disclosures and notifications. Actively participates in the continuous improvement of all aspects of our dealership operation. Complies and enforces all TSS policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned
