Sales Account Representative – Electrical Coil, Rotor & DC Services Job Summary: Responsible for managing and growing customer relationships by combining technical product knowledge with consultative sales skills and hands‑on experience with stator and rotor repairs. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, engineering, production, and internal teams to ensure accurate quoting, order fulfillment, and long‑term account success. Additionally, the role is responsible for promoting, supporting, and growing value‑added services that are provided by Precision Coil & Rotor.

The Sales Account Representative will provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, assisting the customer to select the right solutions while promoting and expanding the company’s full range of electrical repair and manufacturing services.

Job Location: Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, or Denver (covers southwest and west coast)

Position Type: Full‑Time, Exempt + Commission

Job Responsibilities:

Manage assigned customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact from inquiry through delivery.

Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and through new customer development.

Promote and sell the full suite of services, including:

Formed wound coils

AC and DC rotors

DC armatures and field coils

Other value‑added repair and manufacturing services

Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and terms in coordination with management.

Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue across the assigned territory.

Collect and report information to assist coil and rotor shop facilities in growing sales revenue.

Develop a strong understanding of coil products, manufacturing processes, materials, and applications.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to confirm feasibility, lead times, and technical details.

Review rewind sheets, rotor data, connection diagrams, and technical drawings for accuracy and feasibility.

Utilize ERP system for quoting, order entry, and pricing management, maintain all customer account activities in CRM system.

Maintain accurate customer records, pricing data, and sales documentation.

Analyze sales data, forecasts, and customer trends using spreadsheets and reports.

Travel as needed to customer facilities (approximately 50–75% of the time).

Take initiative, and self‑manage schedule, projects, and overall position responsibilities.

Required Skills:

7+ years of combined experience in technical sales and hands‑on motor rewind/repair work.

Proven success in managing key accounts, driving territory growth, and achieving sales targets.

Hands‑on experience with:

AC and DC stator and rotor rewinds

DC armature and field coil rewinds

Electrical connections, rewind sheets, and technical documentation

Strong understanding of industrial motor repair standards and practices (EASA knowledge preferred).

Ability to confidently interpret and discuss rotor data, rewind diagrams, and machine construction details.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High school diploma required.

Proficiency with ERP and CRM systems, sales reporting, and data analysis.

Strong analytical, technical, and problem‑solving capabilities.

Results oriented, self‑starter, and excellent communication skills.

People oriented must work effectively with customers, co‑workers, and management.

Strong computer proficiency and attention to detail.

Base Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience.
