highly skilled N8N Engineer to help build and deploy our next generation of AI-powered agents.
Role Overview As our
N8N Engineer (AI Agent Builder) , you will design, build, test, and deploy automation workflows and AI-powered agents using
n8n
as the orchestration layer.
You will work closely with our product, data, and marketing teams to turn business use cases into production‑grade automation systems.
This is not a junior automation role. We are looking for someone who can think architecturally and build scalable systems.
Key Responsibilities AI Agent Development
Design and build AI agents using
n8n
Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
Create multi‑step autonomous workflows
Build decision trees and conditional logic systems
Implement prompt chains and structured output handling
Systems Integration
Connect CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce)
Integrate ERPs and accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
Build webhook‑driven automations
Work with REST APIs and JSON payloads
Design database integrations (Postgres preferred)
Workflow Automation
Replace spreadsheet‑based processes
Automate reporting and KPI dashboards
Build lead routing and sales automation flows
Create marketing automation pipelines
Implement approval and task automation systems
Architecture & Optimization
Design reusable workflow templates
Improve system reliability and error handling
Monitor and optimize performance
Document workflows clearly
Maintain version control and deployment standards
Required Skills
2+ years experience with
n8n
(required)
Strong understanding of APIs and webhooks
Experience with OpenAI or other LLM integrations
Strong JavaScript fundamentals
Experience with databases (Postgres preferred)
Familiarity with CRM and ERP integrations
Strong problem‑solving ability
Excellent written English communication
Bonus Skills
Experience building AI agents or autonomous workflows
Experience with low‑code platforms (Xano, Zapier, Make)
Familiarity with AWS or cloud deployment
Experience with Docker
Experience in data engineering or ETL processes
What Success Looks Like Within 90 days:
Youve built 3–5 production‑ready AI agents
Youve automated at least one complex multi‑system workflow
Youve reduced manual business processes for a client by 30%+
Youve contributed reusable workflow templates to our internal library
