About the Position We are looking for Two (2) Housing Specialist II's to join our team in Medford, Oregon! The Housing Specialist II will coordinate applicant referrals from internal and external partners; screen tenants for eligibility and prioritize housing placements. They will facilitate completion of rental agreements and other required forms for new tenants. The Housing Specialist II will ensure compliance with all regulatory agreements applicable to each property including OHCS, OHA, HUD and Department of Human Services agencies. They will coordinate with local and public housing authority; identify landlords with available housing eligible for Section 8 rental. The Housing Specialist II will work cohesively with Accounting Department to keep tenant ledgers accurate and be sure funds are being properly allocated.

Work Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Full Time, Day)

What You’ll Make $23.00-$25.00 per hour

DOE/Credentials.

Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates.

What You’ll Need

Must have a high school diploma (or GED equivalent)

One to Two (1-2) years’ experience working in a property management or real estate office setting

OR equivalent combination of relevant experience (professional and/or personal), training, and/or higher education

Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants must provide a valid driver's license from their state of residence or obtain and submit one within 30 days of hire, maintain a safe driving record, and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.

This position requires the ability to frequently sit, walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, talk, listen, and use hands and fingers. It may require the ability to occasionally use ladders, squat/kneel, use basic tools, and perform other physical tasks as applicable including minimal cleaning tasks; as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
